Ferrer Bobet – Vinyes Velles – 2014

Inky dark purple colour. Ripe and intense nose of violet, cassis, and blackberry with some pepper and tobacco notes. The palate has a rather massive structure, yet without heaviness, fine balanced tannin and a fresh acidity, crushed dark fruit, cassis, sage and aniseed notes, and a very long and grippy finish. A big wine that should develop tremendously.
