Inky black core. Some maturity on the nose offering ripe dark fruit, cherry, prune and liquorice with spicy peppery notes. The palate is still dense and youthful but starting to open it seems, high tannin level but balanced and ripe extract, layers of ripe dark fruit with an underlying spiciness and a long muscular finish. A structured wine still deserving 1-2 years in the cellar.
