Dense dark purple core. Open nose, rather balsamic but still pure with layers of ripe dark fruit, plum, cassis, mild spices and very mild oak. The palate is concentrated but with soft extract, grainy tannin, pepper, clove, aniseed and floral dark fruit notes with a long and lingering finish.
