Argentina,
Mendoza,
Still with a very youthful and inky colour colouring the glass, blue-purple core. The nose however does have a certain evolution. It is showing some gamey, meaty notes, leather, more on the dried fruity side, more on the traditional style, with some herbal leafy notes. More traditional, slightly rustic style. The palate has medium weight with a high extraction. Quite present tannin here, still appearing a bit dry. The fruit however is quite ripe on the sweeter side, with a presence of some green herbs. High acidity and medium towards long finish. Still appearing quite youthful. And I would say this is more of a traditional, slightly rustic style. A wine that would require some more aging, or really thorough decantation before serving it. I think it has nice root, a certain length, obviously a dense texture. It just needs some time to soften and open up.
