A purple core and slightly lighter rim. Pure and modern nose of floral dark fruit with violet, blackberry, cassis, fine oak in the background and a mild spiciness. The palate is very dense and polished at the same time, grainy tannin, cocoa powder with ripe dark berries, tobacco and a well-balanced dose of acidity, ripe and intense but no alcoholic flavour, very long and dense finish, a super structured wine with layers of finely spicy dark fruit. Tastes really well now but certainly has a potential for long cellaring. Very good.
