Intense dark purple colour. Some maturity on the nose, high ripeness with layers of black fruit, leather, tobacco and liquorice. The palate is dense and concentrated but starting to soften now with good layers and approaching complexity, spicy dark fruit a balanced acidity and a long finish with integrated wood. A big wine starting to mature and open.
