Inky dark core and a maturing rim. Nuanced nose, some maturity and complexity with fine roasted notes, dry spices, red and dark fruit with some truffle notes. Dense palate, still youthful texture and high tannin, with oak presence, ambitious and long but still tight with tannin and oak dominating the palate. Needing time.
