Medium deep ruby red colour. Some maturity on the nose, sweet red fruit, a touch of wood, dry spices, kirsch and tobacco. The palate is on the fuller side with a firm tannic core, sweet red fruit and a bold spiciness, and a long finish. Starting to open but could still soften a bit.
