Fleur du Cap – Cabernet Sauvignon Unfiltered – 2009

Bright, dark ruby; generous nose of fine tobacco, spice, dark berries and blackcurrant, quite Bordeaux like, but with a hint of meaty/smoky notes; the palate is on the fuller side with fine extraction and tannic backbone, good purity of fruit and bright freshness, some herbal notes on the finish - well made; should develop well, keep for 2 more years at least.
