Italy,
Piedmont,
Developed colour here, with a light ruby core and slightly orange toward the rim. Indicating some maturity and evolution. The nose is still fairly youthful with more primary fruit. Mostly on the red fruity side, like sweet red berries, with cherry, sweet cherry, a mild spiciness. Some floral hints like rose petal and a hint of fine tobacco. Good grip on the palate, quite dense here. Already with what I would say integrated tannin. There is a lot of extract but I think the texture appears quite subtle already, at least for this style, which is a Nebbiolo that can be quite fierce when young. So I Iike this attractive fruit, Roséhip and red berries. With a fine spiciness of cardamom, white pepper, vanilla. There might be a hint of wood in the background, but the wood is really present so you do not really feel it. Juicy with a long and lingering finish. Still a youthful wine, but perfectly enjoyable and doubtlessly with a fine potential.
