Fontezoppa – Falcotto – 2015

Medium to deep ruby red colour. The nose offers a bold spiciness, wild herbs, pepper blended with red fruit, cherry liqueur and some balsamic notes. Medium weight on the palate, fresh with a youthful tannic grip, herbal red fruit with plenty of pepperiness and a rather long finish. A wine that could still soften from further ageing but nice character.
