Inky dark core and hue. Generous oak, roasted coffee, vanilla and butterscotch with jammed plum and red berry notes. Rather ample palate, still marked by oak in terms of vanilla flavours and tannin, attractive fruit underneath and a fine length but still too oak-driven needing a few years to soften.
