Mature ruby red colour with a tawny rim. Mature nose displaying dried fruit, cherry, tobacco, some oak notes and tobacco. The palate is dense, still rather youthful but starting to soften it feels, high but ripe tannin, red fruit, kirsch and tobacco flavours with well-integrated oak and a long finish approaching complexity.
