Italy,
Trentino,
Quite pale already developed colour. Light ruby with a tawny rim. Pure nose, also showing some development. A slight hint of complexity here with dried spices. Sweet red fruit, like wild raspberry, redcurrant, plum and cherry notes. Perhaps a little hint of oak. I get a whiff of vanilla, but quite a mild spiciness. Well-rounded palate. I think this is really a nice example. It is medium weight, but it does have a fine subtle texture. Rounded with youthful and attractive red fruit, layered with some of that mild spiciness, vanilla notes. Good levels of freshness. The tannins are already finely grained and integrated. Nice juiciness and drinkability. This is, I suppose, a fairly young wine, but I already like it a lot. It should, in the coming few years, it should just gain more complexity and harmony. Fine potential indeed.
