Dark inky core and a lighter rim. Nuanced and layered nose offering ripe dark fruit, cassis, tobacco, fine spice and mild oak. Good volume and ripe texture with present but rounded tannin, digest dark fruit, finely spicy with a fresh backbone and a long pure finish.
