Israel,
Galilée,
Red wine with a medium towards deep ruby-red colour. Expressive nose with a lot of ripeness. Quite sweet fruit here, a mix of red and dark berries, with a ponderance of cassis. Some herbal notes, like mint, and a slight hint of wood. Palate has a good concentration, quite weighty and ample, with concentrated fruit. You feel there is a high level of ripeness again on the taste, but I think it is well balanced by a nice, round acidity. Also the quality of tannin, quite powerful tannins giving a lift here. Quite persistent on the finish as well, rather long I would say. Still with a good emphasis on the fruit here; those dark plums, cassis, slight defined spiciness on the finish. A wine with a fine level of great drinkability today, however with a concentration that will continue to develop in the cellar for many more years.
