Garces Silva – Family Vineyards Amayna Syrah – 2015

Intense dark inky colour. Lovely nose, meaty and spicy with hints of raw meat, charcuterie, black pepper, violet and sweet blackberry. The palate is dense and vigorous with layers of spicy dark fruit, grainy but plenty of tannins, and a long and lingering finish with plenty of generosity and spice. Really enjoyable, meaty and spicy in a Côte-Rôtie style.
