Genium Celler – Genium Coster Vi de Guarda – 2009

Dark ruby purple colour. Mature nose, leather, walnut and some aged oxidation with dried fruit like fig and dates. The palate appears slightly younger than the nose, concentrated and ripe with port-like flavours, figs, dates and prune with rather firm tannin, some alcoholic warmth and a long slightly tannic finish. Feels mature already time to drink.
