Beaujolais Villages

France,
Beaujolais,
Moderately intense colour. It is transparent but it still has some purple in it, so it displays youth. Very attractive nose here, good purity of fruit. Fresh berries, with plum, raspberry, mild spiciness and no oak. Good freshness on the palate here. Well-rounded with, I would say, a medium weight. Quite mellow texture with rounded tannin. There is still a slight presence of the tannins though, so it gives a slight lift. Really fresh with some floral hints and a quite long finish. A wine I would prefer to drink for its youthful and fresh fruit.
