Inky black purple core. Pure and ripe nose, inky dark fruit, cassis, sage, mint with tobacco and new oak aromas. Nice grip and freshness, a hint of oak but rounded tannin, fresh dark fruit and crème de cassis notes, and a long and lingering finish. Nice freshness and drinkability even though it should improve from further ageing.
