Inky dense purple colour. Intense nose, floral dark fruit with violet, blackberry, plum, some new oak and tobacco notes. The palate is ample and structured, still youthful with a tannic presence but no harshness, some new oak flavours, plenty of inky dark fruit, cassis and plum notes with a long finish. A potent wine still needing some time in the cellar to soften but certainly has the structure to age for a long time.
