Switzerland,
Valais,
Quite pale colour, light straw with a green hue. The nose starts out quite discreetly, showing off some oak and gently roasted notes. It is not really an aromatic variety, more in a Burgundian style I would say. But with a clear presence of minerality with finely roasted nuts and ripe citrus. Nice palate here, bone dry, good tension and purity there. Really bright acidity, fine extract as well. Still quite youthful and unresolved in terms of the fruitiness. I think well-integrated oak with that elegance and toastiness. Long and lingering finish. A wine that should doubtless develop really well.
