Gitana Winery – Lupi Rezerva – 2012

Dark ruby colour with a lighter rim. Sweet and intense nose displaying an herbal spiciness, mint, sage, sweet red fruit and cassis. Youthful palate, still a bit tight but nice layers of fruit, a tannic backbone, discreet oak, a fine spiciness and long finish. Still needing some time for the tannin to soften.
