Dense dark core and a mature ruby rim. The wine offers a mature perfume of ripe dark fruit, cassis, dried cherry, leather, tobacco and wood. The palate is still rather youthful with a tannic backbone, dried fruit flavours tobacco and leather with some wood and a long finish, sweet fruit but still a young tannic bite, could still age and improve.
