Quite dark and youthful colour; the nose is intense and offers dark plum, blackcurrant, mint, spices, leather and smoke. The palate has a high level of concentration and weight, alluring extraction without hard edges, layers of dark fruit, some notes of black pepper and mint, very good length - a really appealing wine with splendid potential.
