Glenelly Estate – Grand Vin de Glenelly – 2009

Dark dense core with a ruby rim. Intense perfume of gingerbread, dark berries, smoke, pepper and some oak. Rather syrahlike with a dense texture, ripe dark berries, firm tannin, spicy and meaty notes, good length and powerful finish, still rather firm tannin on the finish but potent.
