Very deep golden or turning into light amber with a slightly green rim. Quite discreet on the nose, it starts out gently with some notes of hazelnuts, there is a hint of sweetness there, like brown sugar, caramel, fine wood, and some candid fruit notes. Good gripe on the palate, it is intense, persistent flavours. You feel the alcohol in the finish, but I think it is all well balanced. Long finish, slightly spicy, with some peppery and nutty notes. It started out really discreetly, but I think in terms of flavour and finish it has a bit more depth and harmony. Well balanced.
