Medium deep golden colour with rather small bubbles. The nose shows some evolution with butterscotch, nougat, rather ripe fruit like windfall, sweet plum and honeyed notes. The palate is broad and bold with darker fruit, feels more like Pinot, plum and red berries with gingerbread spice and a mild mousse, integrated acidity, a slight hint of skin bitterness and fairly long on the finish. An unctuous and ripe style.
