Gran Clos del Priorat – Gran Clos – 2010

Inky dark purple colour. Pure nose of dark ripe fruit with cassis, cherry and plum with some herbal spiciness, discreet oak and tobacco notes. The palate is dense and concentrated but has a very vibrant freshness paired with savoury dark fruit like cassis and cherry flavours with sage and aniseed, well integrated oak and grainy tannin, well balanced with good drinkability combining power and freshness.
