Israel,
Judean Hills,
Deep red colour here, the core is rather black, black-purple, slightly lighter ruby towards the rim. Fresh nose here, displaying mainly dark fruity notes; like cassis, dark plum, dark cherry, there is a slight hint of wood, a touch of vanilla. Quite full bodied on the palate, concentrated fruit here, but rather an emphasis on the fruit, quite high concentration of fruit. There is a tannic presence, but I think they have already dissolved pretty well. There is some peppery notes as well, slight spiciness there; pepper, ginger, clove, in combination with ripe dark fruit. Quite long and persistent finish, slightly more tannins on the finish. A wine I could drink today I would say, but it still would probably gain some more nuance and roundness from two to three years of ageing.
