Dark ruby core and a lighter rim. Some evolution on the nose, sweet red and dark fruit, some balsamic notes and roasted wood. The palate has a slight sweetness, rather full and rounded with jammed red fruit, roasted wood and spicy notes. Opulent finish, ambitious, just a bit on the sweet side with marked oak but should improve.
