Hacienda Araucano – Clos de Lolol – 2014

Inky purple core and a lighter rim. Layered nose with ripe dark fruit, cassis, dark plum with a grassy/herbal spiciness and tobacco/cedar notes. Very good bite on the palate, slightly above medium bodied but structured with plenty of ripe tannin, intense dark fruit flavours, juicy black currant, spice box and tobacco notes, layered and complex, well-kept freshness and a long lingering finish.
