Switzerland,
Valais,
Youthful wine with a fairly pale, straw colour, slight green hue. Nice perfume there. Very stony, with a mineral presence. Fairly ripe, yellow stone fruit such as apricot peach, with a sweet lemon, fresh almond. Slightly floral element. No noticeable oak. Excellent purity, quite inviting. Very good grip on the palate. It is medium weight, but with really, really good extract here adding a dimension on the palate without appearing bitter. So nice zesty notes, with juicy yellow fruit underlined by that very vibrant youthful acidity. No hints of oak here either. It is really salivating on the palate. Combining crushed stone with barely ripe yellow stone fruit. Really intriguing with a fairly long finish. This is still a baby. It is really really youthful, but still I think we can see the properties in this one. Which vouches for a very good evolution. I would be happy to come back to this one, two, three years and so forth. Nice resolve.
