Switzerland,
Vaud,
Youthful colour, slightly straw-tinted. Fresh nose, quite delicate with some notes of ripe apple, some herbal notes like fennel, chamomile; and always with the presence of that slightly stony pure wet stone. Good grip on the palate, very pure, precise. Excellent bite. Acidity keeps on that medium-high level, but this is that Chasselas style that builds on that phenolic sensation; that’s really nicely integrated on the palate, and adds that mouthwatering sensation. The wine starts out discreetly with those ripe apple notes but it has a long and pure finish. Well-made.
