Deep ruby core and a lighter rim. Rather modern nose of new oak, roasted coffee, spices and dark berries. The palate is rather dense and powerful with high extract/acidity, although the tannins are present they start to soften and add length and freshness, elegant fruit, rather bordeaux-like flavour wise, good length and a fine toastiness on the finish.
