Henriot – Millésime – 2008

France,
Champagne,
Medium deep golden colour with a gentle mousseux. Ripe nose with some development, autolytic brioche, butter notes with red berries, ripe pear and pain d’épices notes, rather Pinot it feels. Dense palate, ample with layers of fruit like raspberry, pear, mild spices, ginger, clove and a creamy mousse, very vibrant freshness giving a lift to the unctuous fruit with a very long and balanced finish.
