Medium to deep ruby-red colour. Still quite youthful with a hint of purple. Sweet nose, displaying ripe fruit, slightly jammed fruit. With some spicy notes of liquorice, pepper, with mostly red berry fruit and plum. Palate has a quite high concentration. Still youthful with a high extract. Slightly protruding tannin. A gentle hint of oak in the background. Attractive sweet fruit, but still slightly dominated by that tannic sensation. Medium towards long finish. A wine that should preferably be put back in the cellar for another few years to gain some more roundness and harmony. It should have a good potential.
