Dense ruby core and a tawny rim. Very expressive nose - black truffle, earth, spices and wild berries. The palate is packed and powerful with a good dose of complexity, elegant sweet fruit, grainy tannin, layers of spices and a long, lingering finish. Very nice and expressive in a traditional style.
