Dark core and a lighter ruby rim. Some maturity on the nose, dried fruit, prune, pepper and dry spices. Rather dense palate with high extraction/tannin, peppery red fruit and a mild hint of oak, rather ong aftertaste, yet a bit tight and tannic.
