Intense dark purple colour. The nose starts with some new oak and toast paired with ripe black fruit, cassis, plum, tobacco and fine spices. Very good grip on the palate, dense but fresh dark fruit with pepper, clove, fine wood and tobacco notes, young but ripe tannin with a long and layered finish. Nicely done.
