It has an inky dark purple core and hue. It is a pure and intense expression of inky dark fruit—blueberries, black cherry, and cassis—with violet, sage, mint, and mild oak in the background. The palate is dense and concentrated, still on the youthful side yet with mild tannin and a well-present acidity. Dense, ambitious, and very long, it should be interesting to follow.
