Inky dark purple/black core and hue with a lighter rim. Ripe and intense with an approaching maturity, fine spice, leather, pepper, tobacco, mild oak and layers of inky dark fruit. The palate is rather massive, high concentration but with ripe tannin/extract some balsamic notes, dired herbs, mint, sage, tobacco and crème de cassis flavours leading to a muscular and very long finish.
