Hubert Brochard – Vieilles Vignes – 2016

Rather dark ruby red colour. Youthful nose, slightly darker fruit, plum, cherry and liquorice notes. Rich and dense palate with finely weighted tannin, crunchy acidity and wild berry fruit, long and persistent, still youthful and restrained but good material, should develop more harmony and nuance from further cellaring.
