Greece,
Crete,
Very deep core here, dark ruby-red, with a slightly lighter rim, indicating a certain evolution. The nose also has also some evolution here, with some roasted almost burnt notes. Very sweet and ripe fruit, almost like stewed berries with plum, cherry and leather. Quite full on the palate with a present tannin. Slight hint of new oak as well. It feels quite warm climate in style. With rather ripe sweet fruit, slight hint of confiture. At the same time, it does has a quite fresh acidity. Tannins are still marked on the finish. I suppose this is a style that should get one to two years in the cellar to round of the edges and that slight tannic sensation.
