Dense core with a purple hue. Still youthful aromas but layered with dark fruit like cassis, plum, sage and aniseed with mild oak. The palate is dense, still youthful but with ripe tannin, digest dark fruit, predominantly cassis with a nice sage/tobacco/aniseed spiciness, fresh backbone, modest oak and a long finish.
