Dark inky core and a ruby rim. The nose shows some maturity but no oxidation, pure aromas of cassis, dark cherry, mint, sage and tobacco. Very savory palate with juicy dark fruit, dense tannin but ripe and grainy, long and dense finish, certainly ripe with some alcoholic warmth but well balanced by a fresh acidity, really long and meaty finish. A wine with ripeness, purity and power.
