Inky dark purple colour. The nose is floral and fragrant displaying ripe black currant, cherry, tobacco, sage and fine oak. Nice density and weight, still very youthful but certainly potent with bright fresh dark fruit flavours, grainy tannin, cocoa powder and sage flavours with a healthy freshness underneath and a very long lingering finish. Keep for some more time in the cellar, should keep up to 20 + years.
