Medium deep colour with some development. Fragrant nose with some layers and complexity, dark fruit, cassis, cherry, tobacco and fine wood with some aromatic herbs. The palate is dense, rather medium bodied but packed with dark fruit, black currant, tobacco and herbal flavours, fine oak and a long, fresh finish. It still appears rather youthful but certainly has the stuffing for long ageing.
