France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Sparkling wine, youthful bubbles, although fine. The colour is still rather youthful with a very light golden yellow with a tinge of green. The nose is pure, clean, fresh and youthful, displaying no signs of age. Vibrant fruit, hints of lemon zest, lime, apple and melon. The palate feels dry, rather bone dry, not really any hints of residual sugar. Good freshness, it’s crisp, with a rather high acidity. Nice creamy mid-palate, with those zesty flavours, apple, lemon, and a medium-long aftertaste. Rather light in alcohol as well, fresh and discrete style, something to enjoy for rather early drinking, pleasurable and fine.
