Switzerland,
Valais,
Medium-high colour intensity, ruby-red with a certain evolution. Quite fine nose. Offering sweet, ripe fruit, without being jammy, but sweet red berries; like plum, freshly crushed berries. Also with a mild spiciness and quite discreet oak. Good grip on the palate. It is a nice density of fruit. Extract is also quite high, but well-rounded already. Attractive and juicy red fruit with those crushed berry notes. A lot of pepperiness, fresh black pepper, with some clove, ginger, some finely integrated oak. Barely noticeable on the palate. Good persistence as well, it keeps lingering for quite a while. It is still youthful but I think it is starting to show a certain complexity. It is really multi-layered, with a fine spiciness going on. Certainly a wine that should develop really well.
